GEI’s Role in the Ecowatch Rapid Deployment Tower

Supporting the Ecowatch Rapid Deployment Tower Project

GEI recently worked with Copeland Group Services on the development of their Ecowatch Rapid Deployment Tower, a mobile security and monitoring solution designed for fast setup on construction sites, remote areas and temporary events. Our involvement covered design support, technical consulting and hands-on installation assistance to ensure the system could operate reliably in the field.

The project required a dependable off-grid power setup capable of running cameras, lighting and communications without disruption. We advised on the most suitable solar configuration, battery storage options and overall energy management so the tower could remain operational throughout the year, even during low-light conditions. Our guidance helped shape a layout that keeps the equipment accessible, safe and easy to maintain, while delivering consistent power output.

After finalising the design, we worked alongside the Copeland team during the installation phase to make sure the power components were fitted correctly and performed as expected under load. The finished tower is a practical, efficient and fast-to-deploy solution that gives users a flexible alternative to generator-only setups.

Projects like this show how renewable and low-maintenance power systems can strengthen security operations and support remote site management. If you are developing equipment or infrastructure that needs clean, reliable energy built in from the start, GEI can provide the design expertise and technical support to bring it together.
